So, zack randomly texted me yesterday, seeing if I could hang out since he was in town.
Apparently his father had a heart attack, while at Carnegie Hall watching a play. I imagine him in a tux and everyone freaking out. Sort of theatrical, I guess by nature.

Anyway Zack was clearly shaken, but his dad was apparently in good condition after having open heart surgery, so zack himself was fairly cool. I think relieved is the word--he seemed like, shaken but relieved. Anyway he's in town for a while and told me he wanted to move back. That would be great.

His parents are just awesome people. Apparently when his dad got the intubater removed, his first words to his wife were something to the tune of: "so how did the rest of the play go?"
